Transport Administrator / Sales Administrator

Maternity Cover – Minimum 12-Month Contract

We are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator / Sales Administrator to join our team on a minimum 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of transport administration

• Downloading, maintaining and filing tachograph data, monitoring infringements and supporting compliance

• Recording vehicle defects and ensuring they are addressed promptly

• Organising and tracking 6-weekly inspections, vehicle servicing and MOTs

• Maintaining accurate and well-organised transport and compliance records

• Liaising with drivers, workshops and vehicle suppliers

• Supporting the office by taking incoming sales calls during busy periods

About You

• Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration role is essential

• Confident dealing with drivers and external suppliers

• Organised, methodical and able to manage multiple tasks

• Able to work under pressure and use your own initiative to solve problems

• A positive, reliable team player with a strong work ethic
